Who is Captain Capel you may be wondering…
Legend has it, Charlie Capel first set sail aboard the “Queen Anne’s Revenge” at the tender age of 16 in the year 1710 captained then by the Ferocious Pirate Captain Morgan.
For those who knew young Charlie, all said he had a silver tongue worth more than gold, in relation to his ability to be able to pick out the finest Rum’s gathered during the raids off the coastline of Havana. Captain eieth Capel was known as rebellious young man often getting himself into mischievous situations with first mate, Sailor Jerry.
Due to fear of being marooned, he orchestrated a mutiny against the Pereless Captain, overthrowing him to claim his now known title as, Captain Capel.
Now the skipper of the beautiful Queen Anne’ Revenge, Captain Charlie Capel sailed her into the Port Phillip Bay, in his possession, the finest Stolen Rum the Caribbean seas had to offer.
